Airbnb came to us to help localize its global brand platform: Welcome to My Home. But how do we make this relevant to the Mexican market? Not by simply translating it (Bienvenido a mi casa).
Beyond being a direct translation, the line feels too formal. We understand it, but it doesn’t land emotionally. “Bienvenido” is something you say when greeting someone at the airport. By the time you invite someone into your home, you’ve moved past those formalities—you’ve reached a level of trust and comfort that calls for more personal language. In Mexico, when we feel confianza, we welcome people in our own way.
So we developed a local brand platform: PÁSALE (“Come on in”).

Translation:1. Guests ✅. 2. Pets allowed ✅. 3. Holiday homes as you like them. 4. Airbnb. Come on in.

Translation:(Left): The whole bunch without getting tangled. (Insight: in México, we say «toda la bola» as in «the whole bunch»). (Right): The best vacation. Not the most expensive.

Translation:(Left): A vacation like this shouldn't be kept to yourself. (Right): This vacation season bring your favorite son.

Translation:1. Visit a place… 2. Where your tourist guide… 3. Are your neighbors. 4. More than 90,000 homes in México. Come on in.

Translation:1. You pay for a few days… 2. And it lasts them… 3. A lifetime. 4. Find the home your budget loves the most. Come on in.
